Wojciechowski reelected to the World Federation of Exchanges board
Bermuda Stock Exchange president and CEO Greg Wojciechowski has been reelected to the board of the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE), serving a second term as the representative of the Americas region.
Wojciechowski said the BSX’s reelection to the WFE board for a second term was “thanks to what has been very much a BSX team effort and the level of experience and commitment to the platform that we have established and continue to grow for the benefit and development of Bermuda’s domestic capital market.”
Wojciechowski added: “The recognition of the BSX and, by extension, Bermuda and its commercial and regulatory infrastructure, substantiates our ability to punch above our weight and the importance of our contributions to the global dialogue on issues that impact and confront our various industry segments.”
Wojciechowski was attending the WFE 59th general assembly this week in Singapore. More than 350 WFE members, affiliates, key stakeholders and guests from around the world met to discuss various topics including market fragmentation, market data, distributed ledger technology, liquidity and the future of capital raising.
