Arch appoints Lloyd’s regulatory expert Chris Fairs

Bermuda-based Arch Insurance International has promoted Chris Fairs (pictured), formerly head of agency management at Arch Managing Agency (AMAL), to oversee syndicate business plan approvals and Lloyd’s submissions.

Fairs will support and guide Arch Lloyd’s-related business and Syndicates 2012 and 1955, which are managed by AMAL. 

Based in London, Fairs reports to Tom Rivers, chief risk officer.

Fairs bring experience across all aspects of the Lloyd’s regulatory and compliance environment. Most recently, he was agency manager for AMAL, having joined the company in 2022. Prior to this, he was group company secretary at Argenta Private Capital and held various regulatory and technical roles at Lloyd’s.
