Aon appoints Leonora Siccardi to global chief execution officer role

Aon has appointed Leonora Siccardi (pictured) as global chief execution officer for Risk Capital and Human Capital, creating a new leadership role to strengthen collaboration, investment priorities and execution across the firm’s businesses.

Siccardi will report to Joe Peiser, chief executive officer of Risk Capital, and Byron Beebe, chief executive officer of Human Capital.

In the newly created role, Siccardi will work across risk capital, human capital, advisory and analytics to identify opportunities for collaboration, accelerate the development and adoption of new capabilities, and translate strategic priorities into delivery for clients and colleagues.

She brings more than 20 years of international leadership experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry, most of which has been spent at Aon. She will continue as chief claims officer for Aon’s Reinsurance Solutions business and global head of client solutions, Risk Capital, where she oversees growth initiatives across proprietary and cedent facilities, as well as Specialist Claims Solutions.

Siccardi is also a board member of Aon Reinsurance Italia and has advised senior executives and boards on strategy, growth and enterprise transformation.
