Bermuda-based specialty insurer Mosaic Insurance has appointed Peter Breitstone, George Hanna, and Tom Kim to its advisory board, joining chair Joe Boren to focus on market engagement, innovation, strategy, and thought leadership.
Breitstone is an industry consultant who also runs an insurance brokerage. He has advised on organisational change for firms including Aon and Zurich North America.
Hanna spent 10 years as chief legal and administrative officer for cybersecurity firm Secureworks, helping board and management sell the company to Sophos.
And Kim recently retired as a private equity consultant and senior adviser at investment firm KRR, where he was managing director and global risk manager. He brings more than 20 years of private equity experience, including a stint at Aon in its M&A group.
“Under Joe’s leadership, this panel of experts is sharing its deep business knowledge and multi-industry experience to help drive Mosaic’s expansion, particularly in the US,” said Mosaic co-CEO Mark Wheeler. “We appreciate their input as we continue building out our core specialty products across the fastest-growing insurance market in the world.”
“We welcome three highly respected senior leaders whose insights, expertise, and networks bring strategic value to Mosaic,” added Boren, an adviser at US wholesale broker Synapse Services, LLC, and an influential figure in global specialty insurance. “We’re working closely with Mosaic’s team to lend our expertise and support as they build out the business.”
