Monument Re completes acquisition of Cattolica Life

Monument Re has completed its acquisition of Cattolica Life DAC from Cattolica Assicurazioni.

The deal completed following receipt of regulatory approval from the Central Bank of Ireland and no-objection from the Bermuda Monetary Authority.

Cattolica Life ceased new activity in 2017. The transaction does not affect existing Cattolica Life DAC clients and policyholders, Monument Re said.
