Hoffman appointed head of claims at XL Catlin
XL Catlin’s new global head of claims is Brent Hoffman, who was formerly at XL Group.
Hoffman’s appointment is effective immediately. He reports to Paul Jardine, XL Catlin’s chief experience officer.
He joined XL in 2014 and eventually became general counsel global claims, with a place on the claims leadership team. At XL Catlin he will be responsible for leading claims teams across the firm.

In fact, our insurance claims operations alone payout on average $103 million a week to clients getting back to business following a loss.”
Prior to joining XL Catlin, Hoffman was with The Hartford for more than 12 years, where he held various in-house attorney positions in addition to a vice president role in the company's claims department, with responsibility for managing claims groups in the US and UK.
