SiriusPoint partners with Gigasure for travel insurance

Specialty re/insurer SiriusPoint has announced a strategic partnership with Gigasure, an insurtech startup offering personalised travel insurance.

Gigasure, which launched this month, offers travellers and backpackers personalised travel insurance on an app through which they can add post-purchase benefits and unlocking GigaShield flight and baggage delay benefits. Created in partnership with Blink Parametric, these travel delay benefits provide real-time claim support.

The policies will be underwritten by Bermuda-based SiriusPoint whose subsidiary International Medical Group (IMG) will provide claims and assistance services.
