Bermuda-based reinsurer RenaissanceRe has promoted four senior executives to enhance its US presence and reinforce leadership across key underwriting and operational areas.
Jim Riley has been promoted to global head of casualty, leading strategy across reinsurance and insurance. He joined in 2013 and previously served as head of casualty for Bermuda and global head of cyber.
RJ Shea has been promoted to president of Renaissance Reinsurance US, overseeing underwriting, client and broker engagement, and deal execution. He joined in 2015 and has since held roles including senior vice president, global head of credit.
Adriana Nivia has been promoted to managing director for North America, overseeing key operations across the region. She joined RenaissanceRe in 2005 as treasurer.
And Mehdi Benleulmi has been promoted to global head of credit, leading the firm’s global credit strategy. He joined in 2021 as head of credit for Europe.
Bermuda roles are subject to Department of Immigration approval.
