Willis Towers Watson has appointed Kirsten Beasley as the new head of its Bermuda office.

Beasley has been Willis’ head of healthcare broking, North America, since 2018 and will now head up a 26-strong team in Bermuda, with a focus on Bermuda placements in all major lines of insurance: casualty, property, financial lines, and healthcare.

Beasley is also the deputy chair of WeSpeak, and a board member of the Association of Bermuda International Companies, BermudaFirst, Bermuda’s Chamber of Commerce, and the Bermuda Health Council.

Mike Liss, head of Corporate Risk & Broking, North America Willis Towers Watson, said: “As part of our focus on strengthening our teams, we are delighted to confirm Kirsten’s appointment as Head of our Bermuda office.  Today’s announcement ensures we are well placed to adopt an aggressive talent retention strategy as well as looking to strengthen the team with further external appointments.”

Beasley added: “I am delighted to lead such a skilled team of brokers that possess deep Bermuda market relationships and substantive insurance industry expertise.  Willis Towers Watson Bermuda will focus on continuing to achieve exceptional results for our clients.”

Prior to joining Willis in 2016 as a senior VP, Ms. Beasley spent 14 years at Allied World Assurance Company, including three years as chief operations officer.
