Till Capital ups stake in energy company

Bermuda-based Till Capital has acquired a larger stake in Encore Energy through its reinsurance subsidiary Resource Re.

Till has acquired 2,847,000 shares of Encore Energy in the open market. It now holds directly 13,847,000 shares, or approximately 24.19 percent of the company.
