Ronnie Klein leaves BILTIR, organisation looks for replacement based in Bermuda

Ronnie Klein, executive director of Bermuda International Long Term Insurers and Reinsurers (BILTIR), has left the organisation.

BILTIR said in a statement it will look to replace Klein with a new executive director that is based in Bermuda. Klein was based in Switzerland.

BILTIR said: “As BILTIR grows, we continue to evaluate the optimal governance structure to achieve our strategic objectives in advocating for Bermuda’s life insurance sector. In line with the needs of our local members and stakeholders, the board of BILTIR will be appointing a Bermuda-based executive director to support them in achieving the goals of the organisation.”

It added: “The board would like to thank Ronnie Klein who has served as executive director and wishes him well for the future.”
