New head of claims at Canopius

Canopius has appointed Gabrielle Folliard as head of claims.

Folliard will join in early 2019 and will report to Laurie Davison, group chief operating officer. She was previously head of specialty and financial lines claims at Markel International.

“Gabrielle has extensive experience in claims management and a strong background in insurance legal practice and is well regarded across the market. She works collaboratively to achieve the best results for customers and all stakeholders,” said Davison. "We are delighted to appoint her and look forward to welcoming her to the team.”
