McGill & Partners snaps up former Aon executive

Industry veteran Peter Stubbings (pictured) has returned to the Bermuda insurance market as a partner with McGill & Partners.

Stubbings, who was CEO of Aon's Global ReSpecialty operation from 2019 until this year, said on his LinkedIn page: "I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Partner at McGill and Partners!"

Stubbings was previously chairman of Guy Carpenter in Bermuda from 2014 to 2018, having previously been chief operating officer of its EMEA broking operation.

McGill & Partners, a specialty re/insurance broker, set up a Bermuda office in 2019 under the leadership of former Aspen executive Kate Vacher.
