Ironshore hires AIG exec as CUO of global property

Ironshore has named cas chief underwriting officer (CUO) of global property.

The appointment is effective immediately.

Homand will oversee underwriting responsibilities and global product growth strategies throughout Ironshore’s property platform. He will be based in the Boston office, reporting to Tony Mammolite, president of global property.

Homand’s professional career spans 30 years’ experience serving in various regional management and underwriting positions for property risks. Most recently, he was property underwriting officer, Americas region for AIG property and casualty, directing underwriting activities throughout the US, Canadian and Latin American regions for highly protected risk, energy, middle market and excess & surplus business sectors.

Previously, Homand was the national branch property manager for Lexington Insurance Company and regional vice president for Japan and Korea property at AIG.
