Hamilton Re unveils management changes
Hamilton Re has announced a number of changes in its underwriting function that it said were designed to support its development as a new kind of Tier 1 company.
Tim Duffin has been promoted from chief underwriting officer, property to the newly-created position of chief underwriting officer, reinsurance. Secondly Claude Lefebvre has been promoted to chief underwriting officer, partnerships & casualty reinsurance. And finally Susan Steinhoff, senior vice president, property, has been promoted to senior vice president, head of property reinsurance.

It also plays to the significant expertise and experience on the Hamilton Re underwriting team and provides growth opportunities for up and coming talent in our company.

According to Hamilton Re, Duffin will oversee the strategic growth and development of Hamilton Re's reinsurance portfolio. He also assumes management oversight for the organisation's property, casualty and specialty reinsurance lines of business.
Lefebvre will oversee the development and management of Hamilton Re's relationships with AIG and Attune, the technology-enabled platform established by Hamilton, AIG and Two Sigma.
