Hamilton Insurance has appointed Kevin Marzec as head of management liability for its US excess and surplus (E&S) business.
In his new role, Marzec is responsible for building out the insurer’s US-based book of management liability business, leveraging Hamilton Insurance DAC, the company’s platform supporting US E&S lines. He will report to Hamilton’s US E&S President Clay Rhoades.
Marzec previously spent nearly 12 years with specialty property and casualty insurer Ironshore in its Tampa as assistant vice president for wholesale D&O. There, he developed a national strategy for tough-to-place business. He also spent four years as a private enterprise producer at Beazley Group in Atlanta.
“Kevin is a very welcome addition to Hamilton’s US E&S team,” said Rhoades. “He has hit the ground running at a time when our team is undertaking rapid growth, and he is quickly establishing a book of business writing primary and excess private company and not-for-profit directors and officers liability, employment practices liability and fiduciary liability for hard-to-place accounts.”
