Hamilton appoints new HR head
Hamilton Insurance Group has announced the appointment of Daniel Fisher as group head of HR.
The company said that Fisher will be based in London and report to Hamilton chief executive officer Pina Albo. He will be responsible for overseeing the development of the company’s human resources function, as well as a strategy for recruiting and retaining the talent to support Hamilton’s growth objectives.
“I’m delighted to welcome Daniel to London,” said Albo. “He is a consummate HR professional, and as we develop plans for Hamilton’s continued growth, I know he brings the skills and experience to enable us to move from ambitious, aspirational strategy to successful, sustainable execution.”
Fisher comes to Hamilton from the International Swaps & Derivatives Association (ISDA) where he held the position of global head of HR. Prior to working at ISDA, he worked at Munich Re. His 13-year career there included two years as global head of HR strategy, six years as SVP HR (regional head), North America, and five years as director of human resources for Munich Re’s UK and Ireland division.
His experience also includes three years consulting with KPMG and three years working with the Kingfisher Group.
