Guy Carpenter names Paul Miller to lead its property catastrophe business in the UK

Guy Carpenter & Company has appointed Paul Miller to lead its property catastrophe value proposition for the UK, global specialties and key global clients.

Miller has over 30 years of experience in the re/insurance industry working in the UK and the Netherlands. He joins from Aon where he had worked since 1995. most recently as head of international catastrophe management.

He started his career as an underwriting assistant at Lennox Underwriting before moving into the analytics space as a catastrophe model developer at Greig Fester.

Miller is responsible for ensuring the quality of Guy Carpenter’s offering to clients across its UK and global specialties property catastrophe broking, analytics and advisory platforms. He reports to Kevin Fisher, chairman of Guy Carpenter UK.

Fisher said: “[Miller] has continually demonstrated his impact through a combination of modelling, financial and broking insight for clients with both regional and global exposures.”
