Everest offers travel accident insurance

Everest Insurance has launched a new line of business travel accident insurance as it expands its accident and health portfolio.

The insurer, a subsidiary of Bermuda-based Everest Group, said the customisable solution combines insurance protection with travel, medical, and security assistance services for corporate and not-for-profit employers, employees, and accompanying guests during domestic and international travel.

“With the resurgence of business travel, Everest is meeting the demand for comprehensive, tailored protection for companies and their business travellers worldwide,” said Shawn Austin, Everest senior vice president and head of accident and health for North America.

Everest Business Travel Accident Insurance supports a diverse range of travel needs including pre-departure advice, prescription medication support, transportation to local medical professionals, and emergency medical evacuation.
