Everest Insurance hires Chubb veteran in Asia Pacific

Chubb veteran Glen Browne (pictured) has joined Everest Insurance as head of international corporate strategy.

Browne, who has spent a decade within Chubb’s Asia Pacific operations, will report to Everest Insurance International co-leads Adam Clifford and Jason Keen.

Everest Insurance, a subsidiary of Bermuda-registered Everest Re, said Browne will work closely with the Company’s global leadership team to continue its expansion into new markets, build new distribution channels, and further broaden Everest’s suite of innovative product offerings designed to meet local market needs.

“Glen is an excellent addition to our senior team. He is a highly accomplished executive with deep international experience and industry relationships spanning multiple continents,” said Clifford. “Glen’s appointment is integral to our international expansion strategy as we continue filling the growing need for bespoke risk products and solutions across key sectors and regions worldwide.”

Browne was deputy regional president and consumer lines division president for Chubb in the Asia Pacific region. Prior to that, he was country president for ACE Insurance Thailand, CEO of European operations for Cigna, and has also held Asia Pacific regional leadership roles at AIG and Prudential. Mr. Browne holds a Master of Business Administration from Singapore Management University.

“Glen’s deep expertise in leading high-performing international teams and driving expansion across business lines and global markets will be extremely valuable as we continue to scale our international insurance business,” said Keen. “Glen joins us at an important time in our journey, and under his leadership, we are well-positioned to continue bringing our client-first model to key markets around the world.”
