Everest appoints new environmental underwriter

Becky Biermann has joined Everest Insurance as a senior underwriter within the environmental division of Everest Specialty Casualty.

She will be located in the company’s Walnut Creek, California, office and will manage broking relationships across Everest’s West and Central regions.

Biermann joins Everest with eighteen years of experience underwriting casualty and environmental liability in both the San Francisco and Chicago markets. She was previously at Enviant, an environmental specialty MGA where she was vice president and lead environmental underwriter for the West Coast.  She began her career at AIG in 2005 in the environmental casualty division, and was promoted to regional manager for environmental business in San Francisco in 2011.
