Endurance expands E&S transportation team with three senior exec hires

Endurance Specialty Holdings has appointed three vice presidents (VP) to lead its excess and surplus (E&S) transportation team.

The E&S excess casualty transportation product will target US-based companies, as well as mid-size trucking fleets, shuttle and van services.

Eric Yatteau is now senior VP of E&S excess casualty transportation, with Dale Painter and Talbott Thompson as the other two VPs. All three will be based in Endurance’s office in Alpharetta, Georgia.

The new product will be underwritten under the leadership of Yatteau, who will report to executive VP, Jarrett Long.

Prior to Endurance, Yatteau served as senior VP for Axis Insurance, where he was the senior VP of excess casualty. Painter also joins from Axis Insurance and Thompson from Swiss Re.

“I am extremely pleased to welcome the E&S transportation team to Endurance. The strength of Eric, Dale and Tal’s collective experience and relationships with respect to lower-attaching transportation accounts is a natural complement to our current E&S excess casualty business,” Long said.

“This initiative adds an important and timely capability to our product offering and has been very well received by our wholesale transportation broker partners.”
