Conduit Re unveils raft of senior hires

Bermuda-based Conduit Re, formed earlier in December when Conduit Holdings raised some $1.1 billion via an IPO on the London Stock Exchange, has raided a number of its rivals to unveil a raft of new senior appointments.

Chris Board joins from Apollo Re as head of international property and short tail specialty, Erik Soria joins from Sirius as head of US casualty, Greg Roberts joins from AmTrust Re as head of property and Marc Bearman joins from AXA XL as head of specialty – marine and energy.

In addition, Keith Griffin joins as chief actuary from Peak Capital, Andrew Smith takes up the post of chief risk officer and Bianca Harris joins as head of human resources.

Conduit Holdings’ shares were admitted to trading on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange on 7 December 2020. Conduit Re holds a Class IV license from the Bermuda Monetary Authority and has been assigned a Financial Strength Rating of A- (Excellent) by AM Best.

We are pleased to recruit a number of high caliber individuals who fit with the team ethos we set out at IPO. We will issue a formal trading update to shareholders on 19th January 2021.”
