Conduit appoints former Arch Capital Group transformation lead

Conduit Holdings has appointed Michelle Seymour Smith as a non-executive director. She will also serve on its audit committee.

Until 2019, Smith was chief transformation officer of Arch Capital Group, where she headed a global initiative to establish a culture of continuous improvement to grow business and improve operational efficiency. Before that, she was the chief financial officer and chief operating officer of Arch Reinsurance, overseeing the financial operations of the insurance, reinsurance and mortgage divisions, as well as those of Arch’s international subsidiary reinsurance divisions.

Smith has also held positions at XL Capital and Zurich Insurance Global Energy.
