Chubb opens doors for Bermudian students
Six Bermudian university students have started the annual ten-week Chubb Select internship. Chubb Select is an insurance internship aimed at Bermudian university students who are considering a career in Bermuda’s international insurance industry.
According to Chubb, the programme provides interns with a well- rounded knowledge of the insurance industry in a practical environment.
The Chubb Select interns will rotate through four business units and participate in professional development workshops designed to enhance their business and leadership skills. They will complete their learning experience with a presentation to Chubb leaders to showcase their knowledge of Bermuda’s insurance industry.
The six students selected for the 2017 Chubb Select internship are: Karen Bennett, University of Toronto (Robert Clements Scholar 2016), Reem Bushara, McGill University, J. Riley Correia, University of British Columbia (Robert Clements Scholar 2015), Anna Harrington, University of Western Ontario, Cole Hill, Oakwood University and Georgia Morrison, Bentley University.
