The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) announced this week that it is now powered by NASDAQ OMX Group’s X-stream trading platform.
The platform drives 70 marketplaces in 50 developed and emerging countries and is able to process more than 1 million messages per second with 99.99 percent up-time. The BSX expects its members to benefit from “significant enhancements in performance, latency and throughput capacity”.

By deploying the industry’s leading trading engine, we are making clear to domestic and foreign markets that we are dedicated to operating a powerful, open marketplace.”
