Bermuda to host cyber risk management conference in December
Bermuda will host the second annual International Cyber Risk Management Conference (ICRMC) on December 4 – 6.
The ICRMC Bermuda program places an emphasis on re/insurance and risk-transfer solutions. It has been designed for corporate risk managers, corporate counsel, auditors, CISOs, CSOs, CTOs, governance and claims professionals, insurers, reinsurers, insurance brokers and service providers.
The event is organised by MSA, a provider of Canadian insurance financial data, with the Bermuda Business Development Agency acting as signature sponsor. It will be held at the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club.
Also sponsoring the event will be: Bermuda Insurance Management Association; Association of Bermuda International Companies; Bermuda Captive Owners’ Association; Bermuda International Long Term Insurers and Reinsurers; International Organization of Directors; Bermuda Broadcasting Corporation; and Association of Bermuda Insurers & Reinsurers.
Joel Baker, president and CEO of MSA and the National Insurance Conference of Canada, said Bermuda’s central role in the re/insurance and ILS industries made it an ideal location for the event. “It aligns extremely well with the aims of the conference, which is designed to serve the thought leadership and congregational needs of the global risk management community,” he added.
