The Bermuda Business Development Agency (BDA) has strengthened its ranks with a number of appointments as it seeks to enhance its work to attract business and investment to the Island.
Kevin Richards, Deshay Caines and Victoria Buckley have joined the public‐private partnership established in 2013.
Richards will be responsible for developing the shipping and aircraft finance sectors at the BDA, as well as assessing the feasibility of seed capital and infrastructure projects.
He has previously held roles at GE Canada, GE Capital International and ACE Group in London and Bermuda.
Caines takes up the role of business development coordinator, responsible for providing support, coordination and implementation of the agency’s strategies to attract and maintain business.
She joined the agency in early September after working at Digicel Bermuda for three years, latterly as an account manager.
Buckley joined the BDA this summer as its new administrative assistant and now assists the full BDA team with administrative support.
Ross Webber, chief executive officer of the BDA, said: “These talented Bermudians fit very well with the energy and work ethic of our exceptional team as we further implement targeted business development strategies. We welcome them to the BDA, and I’m confident they will complement and add greater value to the work we’re doing.”
