AXIS approved for Lloyd’s syndicate

AXIS has received formal approval for the launch its own Lloyd’s syndicate in 2014, AXIS Syndicate 1686, which will deliver £119 million to the Lloyd’s market.

The deal, managed by Asta, one of the leading third party managers of Lloyd’s syndicates will bring a further Bermuda player into the London market.

AXIS will be joined by Duncan Dale Syndicate 1729, which will be bringing a further £75 million of capacity to Lloyd’s.
