Arch Insurance bolsters D&O unit with Allianz recruit

Arch Insurance International, part of Bermuda-based Arch Capital, has appointed Linda Daly as senior underwriter–executive assurance in the company’s Commercial D&O division, which is led by Michael Chu, head of Executive Assurance.

The division provides specialised insurance products across a range of market segments, including D&O, employment practices liability, and pension trust liability, focusing on risks domiciled in the UK, Europe, Australia, and North America.

Chu said Daly will play a key role in maintaining Arch’s customer service-focused approach with its broking partners and will help achieve its growth ambitions.

Daly brings almost 20 years of insurance experience to the role and was most recently a senior underwriter at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty. She was also formerly an underwriter at Ryan Specialty Europe and at HCC Global Financial Products.
