Arch Insurance appoints SVP of strategy and distribution for A&H business

Arch Insurance has appointed Jim Villa as senior vice president of strategy and distribution within its accident and health (A&H) business unit.

Villa has over 25 years of experience establishing and leading A&H businesses. He has previously served as senior vice president and head of A&H at The Hartford and global head and chief operating officer, worldwide life, A&H at Chubb Group. He has also held executive roles at Aon and AIG.

At Arch he reports to Linda Fallon, executive vice president of travel, accident and health.

Fallon cited Villa’s “industry expertise in an array of roles and proven track record in business development, distribution and management.”

Villa said: “Arch’s successes across a broad portfolio of businesses has been impressive, and I’m looking forward to working with the team to drive continued growth.”
