ACE names leadership team for P&C in Asia-Pacific

Insurer ACE, which has operations in Bermuda, has announced the future commercial property and casualty leadership team it intends to appoint for the new Chubb Group in Asia Pacific.  The appointments will take effect upon completion of the acquisition of Chubb, which is expected in the first quarter of 2016. Paul McNamee will become deputy regional president and regional head of property and casualty, Asia Pacific.  Those reporting to McNamee will include: Roy Amos, head of surety; Kane Bennett, head of environmental liability; Ben Carey, head of broker distribution and client management, Asia; and Adam Clifford, head of casualty. Greg Dodds will serve as head of strategic alliances and carrier partner distribution, Asia-Pacific; Michael Frazer will lead the energy and technical lines; Cassandra Ho will head up ceded reinsurance; and Jason Keen will become head of property.  Serving as chief underwriting officer of property and casualty, Asia-Pacific, will be Neil Moon; Anthony O’Brien will serve as head of marine, include all cargo, hull and marine liability business; Kevin Steven will lead custom products and Stanley Wong will head up professional lines.  “We are very excited to announce the regional property and casualty leadership for the new Chubb Group in Asia-Pacific,” said McNamee. “These individuals represent some of the strongest talent that the region has to offer with underwriting depth and market presence across a broad range of products and services.  “Each of these individuals has a proven track record of success and I’m confident that we will bring an unrivaled value proposition for commercial property and casualty products to the marketplace; building on our combined strength in product innovation, distribution know-how and on-the-ground physical presence across all markets in the Asia-Pacific region.”
