ACE executive vice president to take on top Chubb Group role
ACE, which has operations in Bermuda, has appointed Juan Andrade as executive vice president (EVP) of the new Chubb Group and president of the international non-life insurance division, covering both retail broking and wholesale market distribution.
Andrade will take up his new position with the global insurer upon completion of the acquisition of Chubb - expected in the first quarter of next year.
Andrade, who is currently EVP for ACE Group, will assume executive operating responsibility for the company’s non-life insurance operations outside of the US, Bermuda and Canada, including commercial property and casualty (P&C) traditional and specialty personal lines and accident and health insurance.
He will report to John Keogh, current vice chairman and chief operating officer (COO) of ACE Group who will continue to serve in that role for the parent company.
Prior to joining ACE in 2010, Andrade was president and COO of P&C operations for The Hartford Financial Services Group and served as president of commercial markets and EVP for sales and distribution.
