Helix adopts CyberCube platform to enhance cyber underwriting capabilities
Bermuda-based managing general agent Helix Underwriting Partners has selected CyberCube’s Account Manager platform under a multi-year agreement as it seeks to strengthen cyber underwriting, portfolio management and risk assessment across its large-risk and high-excess cyber portfolio.
Helix, which focuses on large-risk and high-excess cyber placements, will use the platform to strengthen risk assessment through exposure analytics, technical threat intelligence, financial modelling and accumulation insights.
CyberCube said the partnership will provide Helix’s underwriting team with deeper exposure analysis and threat-led scenarios to support underwriting decisions, portfolio management and the responsible deployment of capacity.
Matthew Irvine (pictured), chief underwriting officer, professional lines at Helix, said the MGA aims to apply the same level of precision and discipline to cyber underwriting that its clients use to manage their own risks.

CyberCube said its Account Manager solution provides claims-validated predictive analytics to help carriers assess individual cyber risks, identify accounts that fit underwriting guidelines and support long-term profitability.
