Hamilton taps Validus for credit underwriter

Hamilton Insurance Group has appointed former Validus Reinsurance financial lines underwriter Sergio Lottimore to be vice-president, credit. 

Lottimore, who revealed the move on LinkedIn, joined Bermuda-based Hamilton Re this month. 

He spent three years at Validus Re as a vice president and financial lines underwriter. 

Previously, he was at MS Amlin for 14 years, rising from underwriting assistant to senior underwriter. He is a CPCU and a graduate of McGill university in Montreal, Canada.
