Everest appoints former Chaucer underwriter Catherine Soyka

Bermuda-based specialty re/insurer Everest has appointed Catherine Soyka (pictured) as assistant vice president, reinsurance underwriting for Oceania.

Soyka joins the Everest Reinsurance team in Singapore, bringing 15 years of experience and a strong track record in treaty underwriting across the Asia-Pacific region, with experience at Chaucer and Axa XL. Her collaborative approach and deep market insight make her a fantastic addition as Everest continues to grow its Oceania portfolio, the company said.
