Canopius names Richard Adamczyk, Louise Wai and Jack Hullah in APAC push

Canopius has strengthened its Asia-Pacific capabilities with the appointments of Richard Adamczyk as senior claims manager, ANZ, Louise Wai as head of property D&F, APAC, and Jack Hullah as head of credit and political risk, APAC.

Adamczyk (pictured right) joins on September 28 from the Legal Practitioners’ Liability Committee, where he served as head of claims, following 15 years with AIG, most recently as head of financial lines claims, Pacific. He will be based in Melbourne.

Wai (pictured centre), based in Singapore, will join on November 1 from Helvetia Swiss Insurance Company (Singapore Branch), where she was underwriting manager, engineering and property solutions, Asia. She has more than 25 years of regional experience.

Hullah (pictured left), also be based in Singapore, will join on November 10 from Axa XL, where he was regional product lead for Asia credit & political risk. He has more than 15 years of experience across credit strategy and trading, political risk and credit insurance, structured finance and regional business development.

Canopius said the appointments will help deepen broker and client relationships, support profitable growth and reinforce its technical expertise, service and claims capabilities across APAC.
