Arch taps SCOR veteran Tim Chapman as head of construction

Bermuda-based Arch Insurance has appointed SCOR’s Tim Chapman (pictured) to lead its construction portfolio, focusing on large and complex risks.

Based in London, he will report to Jake Gibbs, head of marine, energy & construction.

With more than 25 years of underwriting large infrastructure projects, Chapman joins Arch after 13 years at SCOR, where he was most recently global segment leader for civil works and EMEA head of construction. He previously spent 10 years at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty in senior underwriting roles.
