Bermuda-based Arch Insurance appointed Holley Higgins as head of ports and terminals. She will be responsible for developing Arch’s ports and terminals insurance portfolio, underwriting global risks on both a first-party property damage and third-party liability basis.
Based in London, she will report to Jake Gibbs, head of marine, energy and construction.
With more than 15 years’ experience in the sector, Higgins joins Arch after almost 10 years at Markel International, where she was most recently head of transport & logistics after serving in underwriting roles. Prior to that, she served as a marine underwriter at RSA.
Gibbs said: “We are thrilled to have Holley on board. Her deep market knowledge and strong broker relationships will be instrumental as we continue to expand our offerings. With Holley leading our entry into ports & terminals, we are confident in our ability to deliver innovative solutions to support both new and existing clients.”
