Ten insurers have registered in Bermuda since the beginning of 2015, according to figures from the Bermuda Monetary Authority.
The list of registrations includes four special purpose insurers: Centuriae Re, Valins I, Securis Re LCM and Skuld II Reinsurance (Bermuda).
Eight insurance applications were reviewed in February, and all were approved. The BMA also approved a broker, Winklevoss.
