Axa XL promotes Shaun Wilkinson to head of international casualty

Axa XL has promoted Shaun Wilkinson to head of international casualty for retail, UK, and Lloyd’s, to lead its casualty underwriting unit.

Shaun Wilkinson (pictured) will be driving Axa XL’s UK and Lloyd’s underwriting strategy for its retail, international casualty portfolio, developing existing and new client relationships as part of the new risk-managed underwriting segment in the UK and Lloyd’s business unit.

Wilkinson will report to Ben Kinsella, head of risk managed, retail, UK and Lloyd’s.

Kinsella said: “Shaun has successfully managed our retail casualty portfolio across our public and products liability, and our employers’ liability lines of business over the last three years. In his new role, he’ll be able to leverage his strong and long-standing client relationships as well as his previous experience as a casualty broker in the London Market.”

Wilkinson has 20 years’ experience in the insurance market; 10 years of which have been in underwriting and 10 years in broking.
