Sedgwick appoints new partner for Bermuda office

Law firm Sedgwick has announced that Nick Miles has been promoted to partner at its Bermuda office, effective immediately.

His practice covers a broad range of commercial matters with a focus on insurance and reinsurance, insolvency and restructuring, dispute resolution and banking and finance.

In a statement Sedgwick said that the 2015 Insurance and Reinsurance Expert Guide, published by Euromoney’s Legal Media Group, recognised Miles as an expert in the areas of insurance and reinsurance. He is also named in The Legal 500 directory of attorneys in Bermuda with expertise in Insurance/Reinsurance and is listed as a leading practitioner in Who’s Who Legal: Insurance & Reinsurance 2016.

In addition Sedgwick announced that Charles Davant has also been promoted to partner in its Miami office, covering the areas of admiralty, product liability and commercial litigation.
