RenRe announces dividend and renews its share repurchase programme

RenaissanceRe Holdings will pay a quarterly dividend on its common shares.

RenRe will pay $0.36 per common share on June 30, 2021, to shareholders of record on June 15, 2021.

RenRe’s board also approved a renewal of its authorised share repurchase programme, bringing the total current authorisation up to $500 million, including the remaining amounts under prior authorisations.

The programme allows RenaissanceRe to repurchase shares through open market purchases and privately negotiated transactions. It will expire when RenRe has repurchased the full value of the authorised shares, unless terminated earlier by the board.
