Ironshore AVP joins Everest property team as director

Everest Insurance, the primary insurance operations of Bermuda-headquartered reinsurer Everest Re Group, has appointed Kevin Flaherty as a director within its retail property team in the US East region.

He will be based out of Everest Insurance's New York City office, and will report to Jason Ventling, vice president and head of retail property.

Flaherty joins from Ironshore, where he served as assistant vice president (AVP). Prior to this he worked as an underwriter at Liberty International and AIG.

"The knowledge and experience Kevin has developed over his many years in the industry, coupled with his leadership experience, make him a valuable addition to our group.”
