Guy Carpenter unveils suite of climate advisory and modeling services
Guy Carpenter & Company has launched a suite of climate advisory and modeling services to help its clients integrate robust climate change strategies into their environmental, social and governance (ESG) programmes.
Guy Carpenter emphasised the impact that climate change is having on the frequency and severity of natural catastrophe perils, and the pressure companies are under to transition to a less polluting and lower-carbon economy. This twin challenge is creating both transition risk and potential liability risk, it explained.
To help clients navigate these challenges Guy Carpenter has established an integrated range of services designed to address multiple facets of physical and liability risk, leveraging services from across the Marsh McLennan group, including Marsh, Oliver Wyman and Mercer. These services include: physical risk modeling; risk governance and regulation advice; risk transfer; advice on public risk transfer solutions and public/private partnerships; and insurance solutions.
