Everest Insurance appoints new chief claims officer

Everest Re Group subsidiary Everest Insurance has appointed Patricia McMahon to the position of senior vice president and chief claims officer.

McMahon will report to Jonathan Zaffino, president and chief executive officer of Everest Insurance and will continue to be based in the company’s Liberty Corner, New Jersey office. She joined Everest from AIG in June of 2017 as head of casualty claims

Commenting on the appointment, Zaffino stated, “I am thrilled to have Patricia assume the role of chief claims officer and join the senior leadership team of Everest Insurance. We are fortunate to have a deep bench of exceptional talent within our organization, and are confident Patricia will be an impactful leader in her new role. Patricia has a unique depth of experience in the space to match her technical skills, along with proven expertise handling complex claims.
