Conduit Re hires BMS Re casualty head

Conduit Re has appointed Mario Binetti as its new head of casualty. Binetti was previously head of casualty treaty and actuarial at BMS Re Bermuda, which he only joined in September 2022. Before that, he was head of casualty at Everest Re Bermuda and served as chief actuary of JRG Re.

With more than 30 years’ experience, he has also held senior roles with QBE and XL Capital.

In the new role, Binetti will lead Conduit’s global casualty underwriting team, previously split by geography.
