Athene prepares $500m bond issue
Athene Holding will sell $500 million of 6.150 percent senior unsecured notes, due 2030, in an offering that is expected to close on April 3.
Athene will use the net proceeds for general corporate purposes, including support of investment opportunities, organic and inorganic growth and its commitment to Athene Co-Invest Reinsurance Affiliate (ACRA).
The Notes are being offered pursuant to an effective shelf registration statement that has previously been filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The transaction is subject to satisfaction of customary closing conditions.
Barclays, J.P. Morgan, RBC Capital Markets and Wells Fargo Securities are acting as active joint book-running managers for the offering.
