Allied World expands European professional liability

Allied World Europe has announced the expansion of its professional liability team with the addition of two new vice presidents, Alec Goodair and Nicholas Lee.

Goodair has been appointed vice president of European financial institutions and Lee has been appointed vice president of European professional indemnity. Both will be based in Allied World’s London office.

Alec’s and Nicholas’s technical expertise in their respective lines and their reputation in the London market will be instrumental as we look to grow these books.”

Goodair has over 15 years of experience in the insurance industry. He was most recently vice president, major accounts manager of commercial insurance, for AIG Europe. Prior to joining the carrier side, Goodair worked at both Marsh and Aon focusing on international accounts. Lee also has substantial experience on both the carrier and broking side working in both Europe and the Asia Pacific markets. Before joining Allied World, Lee was most recently vice president, financial lines manager at AIG based in London.
