Allied World Bermuda expands casualty practice

Allied World Bermuda has expanded its already enlarged casualty team with the appointment Jason Pugi as vice president, general casualty, who joins from AIG.

Pugi will joinKimberly Pursell, vice president and Michael Watkins, vice president, who were added to Allied World’s Bermuda casualty division in 2013. Pugi will further strengthen the team, which is headed by Patrick Kenahan, senior vice president and Bermuda branch manager for general casualty.

Commenting on the appointment, Kenahan said: “I am pleased that Jason has joined our team. Our book continues to grow and in order to best serve our trading partners and clients, we needed to expand. Jason understands the specialized needs of this market having spent much of his career underwriting Fortune 500 accounts. I look forward to working with him.”
